The Model 15531 PCI internal has a short circuit board and short mounting bracket for installation in low-profile desktop systems. The Model 15531 plugs directly into a PCI expansion slot of a low-profile system and does not require a riser card. The modem is designed for use in Windows-based systems with a minimum of a 266 MHz processor. The Model 15531 is a host-based modem, which uses the Central Processing Unit (CPI) of the computer in which the modem is installed to perform controller and data pump functions.
